Welcome to the Non-Core Natural Gas Customer Claim Form page.
The
information on this page complements the Non-Core Natural Gas Customer Claim
Form that you have received or will receive via regular mail. You can not
download a Claim Form from this site. If you have not received a Claim
Form, please contact the El Paso Settlement Administrator at
noncoreclaims@poorman-douglas.com.
Do not address questions regarding the settlement to this e-mail site. We
will respond only to requests for Claim Forms. You should direct all
questions to the El Paso Settlement Administrator at 1-877-205-2720. Below are
instructions that explain how to obtain and complete the Spreadsheet and how to
access the FTP site when you have completed the Claim Form and Spreadsheet.
Downloading the
spreadsheet:
Please download the spreadsheet from
this website to your computer. You must enter all data for the
tables in the spreadsheet. You cannot submit this
information in the hard copy claim form. As you answer
questions on the claim form, you will be directed to complete
the appropriate table in the spreadsheet.
The website will not save your data;
you must save it to your computer. When you are finished
working on the spreadsheet, you must upload it in to the FTP
site on the link below.
Working with the
spreadsheet:
Each time you open the Spreadsheet, you will be asked to
enable or disable the macros associated with it. Click on the "Enable Macros"
button. If you disable the macros you will lose the ability to add more tables
or rows and other features we have built into the spreadsheet. If you have
mistakenly disabled the macros, you should save the spreadsheet and reopen it.
Excel will ask you again to enable or disable the macros and you can choose to
enable them.
If, however, your Excel program gives you a message that
states "Macros are disabled because the security level is set to High," you must
go into Tools at the top of your tool bar, click Options, and then choose the
Security tab. Near the bottom right of the Security tab is a button labeled
"Macro Security." Click the button and a screen will open that lets you choose
your Security Level. Click the dot next to Medium and then click OK, and click
OK again to gain the ability to enable or disable Macros running in your
programs. In order to activate the Macros you will need to SAVE, close the
program and reopen it.
Naming the
spreadsheet:
Before
uploading your spreadsheet onto the FTP site, please name it with the numerical
sequence that is below the Settlement Administrator's address on the first page
of the paper Non-Core Natural Gas Customers Claim Form you receive by regular
mail, followed by the extension ".xls."
An
example of a valid spreadsheet name is: 014150000001011.xls.
The
number below the Settlement Administrator's address is a unique identifier for
your company. You can not use that number to submit information for any company
other than your own. If, for some reason, you feel that you require another
Claim Form, please contact the Settlement Administrator at
noncoreclaims@poorman-douglas.com
and provide your company name, name of a contact person to whom we should mail
the Claim Form, and your mailing address.
Uploading the spreadsheet onto the FTP
site:
To
upload your spreadsheet onto the FTP site, first confirm that
you have named it according to the naming convention cited
above, then click on the link to the FTP site below.
Doing so will open the FTP site. You can then either cut
and paste, or drag and drop, your spreadsheet to the
site.
Once your spreadsheet has been transferred to the FTP
site it will not be accessible to anyone but the El Paso Settlement
Administrator. Please make sure that all you information is correct and
complete. Incomplete spreadsheets will be returned to you for completion.
Click here to download the spreadsheet.
Click here to go to the FTP site.
If you have any questions concerning the claim form or
the spreadsheet, please contact the Settlement Administrator at
1-877-205-2720
Please remember that the spreadsheet is due by midnight
September 7, 2004 and all of the supporting documentation, including a copy of
your Non-Core Claim Form must be postmarked by that
date.
